On April 1, 2024, we opened a showroom in our Nagoya office where customers can experience floor shaking caused by "environmental vibration" for themselves. In this showroom, customers can actually see, touch, and feel our products related to vibration and noise control, and can also consult directly with our experts on vibration and noise issues.
Background of Opening
There are many vibration-related problems around us: protecting important cultural assets and equipment from earthquakes, providing a comfortable living environment by reducing wind sway in buildings and walking vibration in offices, improving the working environment by countermeasures against vibrations from equipment and machinery in factories, and so on.
We have been researching solutions to these issues for over 60 years and have created many earthquake and vibration resistant products.
And in 2020, the Tokyo headquarters showroom will open.
The event has been very well received by visitors, who are able to experience firsthand how vibration problems in their daily lives shake and what effects vibration countermeasures can have, as well as receive technical consultation to help them resolve their questions on the spot.
On the other hand, we received many requests from customers outside the Kanto region who wanted to visit, so we opened a showroom at the Yacmo Nagoya office.

You will find out not only about the products, but also about vibration in general!

Vibration sensory device
The exhibit will reproduce the vibration of equipment and machinery at a factory that we have assisted with vibration control measures, allowing visitors to experience the effects of the AMD vibration control device.
How much 20 gal vibration was actually occurring, and how much would 10 dB of vibration reduction by AMD change that? You can see that the following is a good example.
