In recent years, the number of skyscrapers and slender buildings such as mid- and high-rise buildings on narrow lots has been increasing, and swaying caused by wind and traffic vibration is increasingly affecting the comfort of occupants.
This webinar will explain how to determine simple specifications for vibration control devices (TMDs and AMDs) used to improve occupant comfort against shaking caused by wind and traffic vibration, how to tune them after building installation, and how to monitor them for maintenance and management. The explanations will be provided along the phases of design, construction, and maintenance, so that participants can acquire a series of knowledge about vibration control devices.
The program is also accredited as an architectural CPD program, so participants can earn one architectural CPD credit for attending the course.
